Job Openings – Treasurer, Athletics Director
The Town of Trenton is accepting applications for a part-time Treasurer. The Treasurer acts as a public contact at Town Hall and performs routine customer service, administrative and data processing work in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax collection and all other duties listed in the Town of Trenton Municipal Code Section 94-7. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both individually and cooperatively in a professional, small office environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills and numbers proficiency are essential. Some evening hours will be required. Graduation from an accredited high school and experience working in an office setting is required. Salary range of $15,000 – $18,000.
The Town of Trenton is also accepting applications for a Seasonal Athletics Director. The Athletics Director manages the Town youth athletics programs (Spring Soccer, Baseball, Flag Football and Fall Soccer). The position requires a working knowledge of rules and regulations for each sport, good organizational and communications skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.

Town Office Hours
To keep our Town taxes low, the Town Hall is not open full-time. The Town has a variety of general office hours to accommodate Town residents. However, special circumstances may alter these hours during any given week. For example, when the Town Hall is open all day for an election, the Town Hall will usually be closed the next day. When possible, the website may show these adjusted hours, and changes will be posted on the door. During General Office Hours, the Clerk, Deputy Clerk or Treasurer is available to answer general questions. Building and Zoning questions are best addressed when the Building Inspector or Zoning Administrator are in the office (Thursday and Friday, as specified below).
