Town Trenton Bulletin Board

The Town of Trenton is accepting applications for a part-time Treasurer. The Treasurer acts as a public contact at the Town Hall and performs routine customer service, administrative and data processing work in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax collection. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both individually and cooperatively in a professional, small office environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills and numbers proficiency are essential. Graduation from an accredited high school and experience working in an office setting is required. Salary range of $15,000-$18,000. Town Office Hours

To keep our Town taxes low, the Town Hall is not open full-time. The Town Hall is open for a few hours each weekday to accommodate Town residents. Special circumstances may alter these hours during any given week. When possible, the website may show these adjusted hours, and changes will be posted on the door. During General Office Hours, the Clerk, Deputy Clerk or Treasurer is available to answer general questions. Building and Zoning questions are best addressed when the Building Inspector or Zoning Administrator are in the office (Thursday and Friday, as specified below).
